Millions in Stolen Goods Recovered in California Bust

An extensive criminal investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has led to the recovery of millions of dollars in stolen merchandise. Between December 2025 and February 2026, detectives executed thirteen search warrants across Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties.
During these searches, approximately $7 million in stolen goods and $1 million in cash were seized. These items were taken from cargo shipments belonging to 36 different companies, including major retailers and logistics providers.
Nine individuals have been arrested as part of this operation. They face serious charges, including grand theft cargo, money laundering, and receiving stolen property. The recovered goods included a wide variety of electronics, appliances, tools, apparel, and other consumer products.
