Buxar Gears Up for Holi: Officials Review Law and Order

Ahead of the Holi festival, Buxar District Magistrate Sahila and Senior Superintendent of Police Shubham Arya have reviewed law and order preparations. Magistrates, patrol, and zonal officers are directed to report for duty from March 2 until March 4, or until normalcy is restored. Sub-divisional officers will oversee their respective areas to ensure compliance.
Special vigilance is mandated for Holika Dahan, with fire tenders and firefighting teams stationed at critical points. The electricity supply company has been instructed to repair exposed wires, and municipal bodies will ensure urban cleanliness. Medical teams, ambulances, and hospitals are on alert for emergencies, and a Quick Response Team has been formed.
Enforcement of prohibition laws will remain strict, with raids and patrols to curb illegal liquor sales. A total of 102 magistrates and police personnel, 31 patrol teams, and two zonal magistrates are deployed to guarantee peaceful Holi celebrations throughout the district.
