Authorities have made a second arrest concerning a stabbing incident in Bury St Edmunds that left a man with life-threatening injuries. The victim, a man in his 40s, was discovered injured on Mortimer Road on the evening of Sunday, March 22nd. Five suspects reportedly fled the scene.
A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, following the arrest of a 44-year-old man last week. Both individuals have since been released on bail. The injured man continues to receive hospital treatment in a serious but stable condition.
Law enforcement has impounded three vehicles they believe were used during the commission of the crime. These include a black Nissan Note, a light-coloured Nissan Note, and a black Nissan Micra. Investigations are ongoing, with uniformed patrols continuing in the Mortimer Road area.
