In Miyapur, a devastating incident unfolded on Tuesday night when a 27-year-old auto driver, Raju, was allegedly murdered by his younger brother, Guru Swamy. The fatal altercation reportedly began after Raju returned home in an inebriated state and argued with Guru Swamy, who is a school bus driver.
The argument escalated quickly, with Guru Swamy allegedly stabbing Raju with scissors and then striking him with a boulder, resulting in immediate death. Miyapur police were alerted by residents and responded to the scene.
Authorities apprehended Guru Swamy later that night. A murder case has been registered, and the accused was produced in court on Wednesday and remanded to judicial custody. The deceased's mother, Sunkamma, lodged the complaint.
