The football team's tour began on March 30th, with Ms. Carter spending time with family in South Africa before her death.
Ms. Carter's body was found on April 29th with eight major wounds. DNA tests have not linked any local suspects, suggesting an outsider may be responsible. The possibility of a professional hit is being considered, particularly after a suspicious man was sighted near her home days before the murder.
