Officers immediately deployed a bomb squad to Ajith Kumar's house along East Coast Road (ECR) and conducted a thorough search of the premises and surrounding area. After a few hours of inspection, the police declared the threat to be a hoax, as no explosives were found during the operation.
This incident comes on the heels of a similar bomb threat made against actor Arun Vijay. According to sources, the Director General of Police (DGP) office had recently received an email from an unidentified individual claiming that a bomb had been planted at Arun Vijay's residence in Ekkattuthangal. However, a subsequent search by the police and bomb disposal experts found no explosive materials.
