Body Found in Leicester Park Lake

Police have provided an update following the discovery of a man's body in a lake at Watermead Country Park. Emergency services were called to the park on Saturday afternoon, July 4, after the body was spotted in the water.

Officers from Leicestershire Police and the East Midlands Ambulance Service responded. A section of the park near the lake was cordoned off to facilitate the investigation. The man was pronounced dead at the scene after his body was recovered from the water. The death is currently being treated as unexplained.
