Chad Ollinger, an alum of the Discovery Channel series "Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch," now faces a murder charge after his cellmate died in a Las Vegas jail. Corrections officers discovered the victim motionless in their shared cell on December 26th during routine checks.
The inmate showed apparent blunt force injuries, and an investigation suggests a physical altercation took place between Ollinger and the deceased. Authorities subsequently rebooked the 41-year-old reality star for open murder. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Ollinger, whose father owns the Blind Frog Ranch in Utah, has a history of legal troubles. He was previously arrested in November 2024 for evading police on foot and by motorcycle. In February, he was arrested near Pampa, Texas, for driving with an invalid license and speeding. He has been held in jail since October as a fugitive.
