In Kurukshetra, a heinous crime has come to light after a woman, Vimla Devi, allegedly murdered her husband, Rajesh. The 40-year-old victim was discovered deceased at their rented residence with a shocking 35-cm-long abdominal cut. Police reports indicate that a significant portion of his liver and a kidney were also missing.
Authorities stated that Vimla Devi allegedly used a large knife to inflict the severe wound. The victim's protruding intestines were reportedly placed into a plastic bag found near the body. The landlord reported hearing the couple arguing before discovering the gruesome scene.
Upon seeing the landlord, Vimla Devi allegedly panicked and jumped from the terrace, sustaining a spinal fracture. She was hospitalized, and her condition has since improved. Police have recovered multiple knives and are investigating the motive, with an occult practice angle being considered.
Rajesh, originally from Uttar Pradesh, had been living in Kurukshetra with Vimla for approximately one year. Further details are expected once Vimla Devi is discharged from the hospital and can be interrogated.
