A 22-year-old BSc student from Bihar's Jamui district tragically passed away in his rented Deoghar room. The student, identified as Abhay Kumar from Chakai, was found hanging on Tuesday night. This discovery came just two days prior to his scheduled fourth-semester examinations.
His roommates reported finding him after receiving no response from his room. They subsequently discovered him through a window and broke down the door to rush him to Deoghar Sadar Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police are actively investigating the incident, as no suicide note has been recovered, and they are examining the circumstances.
Abhay's father stated that his son was dedicated to his studies and had not expressed any personal or mental health concerns to the family. The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination as the investigation continues.
