During that period, villagers in Purnia, Bihar, tragically beat a leopard to death. This wild animal had been a menace in the Tikapatti police station area for three days. Recently, on July 25, the All-India Students' Association organized a Bihar bandh to protest the NEET paper leak. These demonstrations escalated into violence in multiple cities, marked by stone-pelting and vandalism, with reports of police firing in Siwan. The viral video, showing people carrying a leopard amidst a crowd, was incorrectly shared as being from these student protests, with claims of a "wild card entry."
