Holi Homicide: Two Arrested in Bihar Shooting

In Bhojpur district, police apprehended two men on Friday as part of an investigation into a shooting that occurred on the eve of Holi. The incident took place in Bheldumra village within the Ara Mufassil police station area.
The victim, identified as 25-year-old Aadarsh Anand, was shot on March 3. He sustained a bullet wound to his stomach and is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Ara. Anand has been residing in Bheldumra village since childhood.
The arrested individuals, Ujjwal Kumar and Pintu Sharma, both from Badkadumra village, were found in possession of two country-made pistols and ten live cartridges. Police stated the motive for the shooting stemmed from a prior altercation between the victim and the accused youths. Another accused individual has already surrendered to the court.
