Land Dispute Erupts: Mob Attacks Admin Team, Injures Five

An administrative team faced a violent assault in Dubaulia village, Bettiah, while attempting to measure land for a protracted dispute. Five police officers, including the circle officer and the station house officer, were injured and received medical attention at the Lauriya PHC.
The incident occurred during a court-ordered land measurement concerning approximately two acres. Protests against the measurement escalated into an attack, with assailants using sticks and rods against the officials and field staff. A thatched house at the site was set on fire, and a drone camera used for the survey was damaged.
Police have initiated an FIR and are actively pursuing dozens of identified miscreants. Despite the disruption, officials confirmed the land measurement would be conducted again soon. The injured officials are reported to be in stable condition.
