A prominent figure from 'Bigg Boss Marathi,' Divya Shinde, faces serious accusations involving extortion, assault, and car theft. The allegations stem from a complaint filed by Dr. Vidyadhar Gaikwad, a former Chief Medical Officer in Pune.
According to the complaint, Shinde and several accomplices initially demanded Rs 5 lakh from the doctor for promoting an event. These demands, made via phone calls since August, escalated on September 23 when Shinde allegedly met the doctor at a hotel and repeated the threat.
On the night of September 24, a group of 8-10 individuals, including Shinde, allegedly broke into Dr. Gaikwad's residence. The doctor reported being severely beaten with kicks, punches, belts, and sticks, sustaining significant injuries. The attackers also allegedly vandalized his home.
After failing to extort the demanded sum, the group reportedly fled with the doctor's car. Visual evidence shows the doctor required stitches for head injuries. The Kalepadal Police are investigating the case against Divya Shinde and seven other individuals.
