In a shocking incident on Wednesday evening, a young woman named Sangeeta was forcefully abducted from the VIP area adjacent to the Bhilwara Superintendent of Police office. She had arrived at the police station to record her statement following a love marriage that had displeced both families.
The abductors, allegedly led by Shivraj Jat and his associates, used a black Scorpio vehicle to carry out the kidnapping. Police personnel present at the scene attempted to intervene and stop the vehicle, but were met with aggression, resulting in one officer sustaining injuries.
Following the incident, senior police officials were alerted, and a widespread blockade was established. The accused were eventually apprehended in the Kotdi police station area, where Sangeeta was safely rescued. Investigators are currently interrogating the detainees to gather further details about the events.
