A shocking crime has emerged from Rajasthan's Bhilwara district, where two men have been arrested for the murder of a 70-year-old woman. The victim, Kamla Devi Kankaria, was allegedly killed by her neighbor, Ravi Tapadia, and his associate, Heera Sindhi, on October 12. Their motive was to steal approximately 15 tolas of gold jewelry.
Following the murder, the accused attempted to destroy evidence by burning the victim's body on a rooftop. They then disposed of the remaining bones and ashes in the Kothari river. Kamla Devi, who lived alone, was reported missing by her daughter-in-law on October 15. Crucial CCTV footage showing the victim with Tapadia on the day of the murder led to his confession. Police recovered the victim's bones from the Kothari River on Tuesday, with further investigation ongoing.
