A shocking incident of alleged voyeurism occurred at Bengaluru's Sandhya Cinema Theatre on Sunday night, disturbing patrons during a screening of the re-released Telugu film 'Nuvvu Naaku Nachav'. Several women discovered a camera device discreetly placed within the ladies' washroom, prompting immediate alarm and intervention from those present.
Patrons quickly apprehended the alleged perpetrator, identified as a minor, and subjected him to a physical altercation before handing him over to the police. Responding to a call via "Namma 112" around 9:30 pm, officers from the Madiwala Police Station arrived to control the situation and safely escort the minor and his mobile phone for investigation.
Authorities have confirmed the detention of the juvenile and are actively pursuing another individual believed to be involved and currently on the run. The management of Sandhya Cinema Theatre is also being questioned as part of the ongoing inquiry into the security lapse.
