Police in Belfast have reiterated their appeals for information on the 20th anniversary of Martin Kelly's disappearance. Mr. Kelly was last seen on New Year's Day in 2006, a date that marks two decades since he was last accounted for.
On New Year's Eve 2005, Mr. Kelly worked as a plumber and part-time barman before attending house parties. The following day, he went to Pat's Bar on Garmoyle Street to watch a football match. He departed the bar around 7:10 PM and has not been seen or heard from since.
Despite extensive searches involving land and water units, diving teams, and air support, as well as thorough CCTV reviews and interviews, Martin Kelly has not been located. Detectives remain determined to uncover the truth and urge anyone with any knowledge of his whereabouts to contact the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
