The victim's body was found in a sack in the Surjyapur Haat area. This discovery triggered immediate protests from local residents, who blocked roads and resorted to damaging police vehicles to demand the swift arrest of those responsible for the crime.
Following the recovery of the body, an angry mob of locals beat one man to death, suspecting his involvement in the girl's death.
