A nine-day crime spree in Baltimore has culminated in a first-degree murder charge for 52-year-old Brian Burrows. Authorities allege Burrows carried out multiple armed robberies, including one that led to the fatal shooting of Khaled Saleh Mohamed Alshariki on February 13, 2026. The victim was working at a convenience store when he was shot and killed, according to charging documents.
Surveillance footage and facial recognition technology aided investigators in identifying Burrows as a suspect. He faces a total of 21 charges, encompassing murder, armed robbery, and firearm offenses. Additionally, Burrows had an active probation violation warrant from a previous armed robbery conviction, for which he had been sentenced to 20 years with 13 suspended.
Burrows was apprehended on February 19, 2026, after detectives executed a warrant at a residence. He is currently being held without bond as prosecutors proceed with the new charges. The investigation also linked him to another armed robbery that occurred two days after the fatal shooting.
