- Victim Zivan Radmanovic was beaten with a sledgehammer before being fatally shot.

In a heartfelt letter to the Indonesian court, Jazmyn Gourdeous, the widow of Zivan Radmanovic, has made an emotional plea for justice. Radmanovic was fatally shot on June 14, 2025, at a villa in Bali. Gourdeous wrote, 'My children will grow up without their father,' highlighting the profound and lasting impact of the crime.
Prosecutors are demanding significant prison terms for the three men accused in the incident. They seek 18 years for the alleged gunmen, Mevlut Coskun and Paea I Middlemore Tupou, and a 17-year sentence for Darcy Francesco Jenson, accused of aiding and abetting the crime by handling logistics. The defense argued these sentences were excessive, particularly for Jenson, who claimed ignorance of the violent plot.
Radmanovic, who had links to Melbourne's underworld, was allegedly beaten with a sledgehammer before being fatally shot. Ghanim was reportedly shot six times during the attack at the villa where Gourdeous was celebrating her 30th birthday. Coskun and Tupou stated they were hired by an Australian man to collect a debt, and Jenson is accused of arranging their accommodation and transport.
All three accused were apprehended days after the alleged shooting while attempting to flee Indonesia. Coskun and Tupou, aged 22 and 27 respectively, faced a joint trial, while Jenson, 27, had a separate proceeding. Gourdeous’s letter underscores the devastating consequences for her family and calls for a penalty that deters future violence.
