Autistic Girl's Health Plummets After School Attack
17 Aug
Summary
- Autistic girl is hospitalized again due to leg function loss.
- Doctors discovered a gumball-sized mass on her brain.
- School administrators allegedly ignored repeated bullying reports.

A 14-year-old autistic girl is back in the hospital following a devastating turn in her recovery after a brutal school attack earlier this year. She reportedly lost feeling and function in her right leg, experiencing severe pain attributed to a slipped and bulging disc at L4 and L5.
Doctors have also discovered a mass on the right side of her temporal lobe, approximately the size of a gumball. While she has regained some function on her left side, her right leg remains severely impaired, requiring a wheelchair or walker for mobility.
Her mother had repeatedly alerted school officials to ongoing bullying prior to the February 26, 2026 attack by five students. Despite these reports, the school allegedly dismissed her concerns. Following the assault, the school stated that disciplinary actions were swiftly implemented.
Two students involved in the attack later faced assault charges, with a police report suggesting a dispute over a boy may have initiated the fight. The girl was diagnosed with a concussion after the incident.
