New South Wales Police have located a property in Dural that is believed to be connected to the February 13, 2026, kidnapping of 85-year-old Chris Baghsarian. Detectives executed a search warrant on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at a residence on Wildthorn Avenue, identified as a possible makeshift stronghold for the kidnappers.
Authorities are intensifying their investigation to find Mr. Baghsarian and arrest the perpetrators. Police are appealing for public assistance, asking anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the Dural area since last Friday to come forward. Detective Acting Superintendent Andrew Marks pleaded with the kidnappers to release the elderly man, emphasizing his need for medical attention and that the family wishes for his safe return.
Police suspect that Mr. Baghsarian was not the intended target and have expressed confidence that he is still alive. CCTV footage allegedly shows Mr. Baghsarian near a dark Toyota SUV outside his home on February 13, shortly before neighbors reported hearing disturbances. The investigation is ongoing, with police working to secure his safe return.
