Aspiring Model Found Dead, Boyfriend Accused of Assault and Murder

On November 11, 2025, a tragic incident unfolded in Bhopal, India, where a 21-year-old aspiring model, Khushi Ahirwar, was found dead under mysterious circumstances. According to the police, Khushi's boyfriend, Qasim Ahmed, claimed that the two were traveling by bus from Ujjain to Bhopal when Khushi suddenly became unresponsive near the Fanda toll plaza.

Qasim told investigators that he tried to wake Khushi but found her cold and unconscious. He then, along with the bus conductor, took her to Chirayu Hospital in an auto-rickshaw, where doctors declared her dead on arrival. Police officers arrived at the hospital after receiving information from the staff about the incident.

Khushi's family, however, has accused Qasim of brutally assaulting and killing her. They claim that there were injuries on Khushi's shoulder, neck, and face, and that Qasim's actions led to her death. Qasim is currently in police custody and being questioned.

A post-mortem examination has been conducted, and the cause of death will be determined once the report is received. Khushi's body has been handed over to her family, who have taken it to their native village in Sagar district for the last rites.

Khushi was an active social media user and ran an Instagram account named "Diamond Girl," with over 12,000 followers, where she frequently posted photos and videos from her modeling assignments. She had previously worked at a bank before pursuing a modeling career.
