- Victim met Arzuaga on TikTok, traveled to New York.
- Co-defendants already pleading guilty in the case.

Precious Arzuaga, 38, is scheduled to appear in Ontario County Court on Friday, June 26, 2026. She faces multiple charges in connection with the torture and killing of Sam Nordquist, 24. Nordquist had traveled from Minnesota to New York in September 2024 after meeting Arzuaga on TikTok, where they began a relationship. He was staying at Patty's Lodge in Ontario County.
Investigators allege that between January and February 2025, Arzuaga and six co-defendants tortured Nordquist for weeks before killing him and disposing of his body in Yates County. Arzuaga is also accused of coercing her two children into participating in the abuse, facing first-degree coercion counts.
Arzuaga was previously slated for trial on August 31. Her attorney and the district attorney have declined to comment. Another defendant, Motyka, 20, already pleaded guilty on June 2 to second-degree murder and kidnapping, admitting to restraining Nordquist. Sentencing for Motyka is pending. Nordquist's family is traveling from Minnesota to attend Friday's hearing, with trials for other defendants scheduled for 2026.
