Mack Details NXIVM Trauma, Calls Raniere 'Evil Man'

Former NXIVM member Allison Mack has recently spoken out about her experiences, calling the cult's leader, Keith Raniere, an "evil man" who is "good that he's not around." Mack, who was a recruiter for the group, is still grappling with the full impact of Raniere's actions and her own role within the organization. Mack described the extreme hardships she faced while adhering to NXIVM's demands, including severe dietary restrictions that led to constant hunger. She recounted chewing excessive amounts of cinnamon gum to cope with this hunger, resulting in raw mouth sores. These experiences are part of her ongoing effort to understand and heal from her time in the group, acknowledging the complex nature of being both a victim and a perpetrator.

Having been released from prison in July 2023 after serving 21 months, Mack has dedicated the past two years to processing her trauma and reclaiming a sense of safety. She is now actively sharing her story through her podcast, "Allison Mack After NXIVIM," aiming to shed light on the harrowing realities of the NXIVM cult and her personal journey toward recovery and self-understanding.
