30 Oct
Summary
- Fashion designer claims Combs assaulted her in 2016
- Combs convicted on felony charges, serving 4-year sentence
- Texts between Combs' staff and alleged victim's friend revealed

As of October 2025, a fashion designer named Bryana Bongolan is pressing ahead with an amended lawsuit against disgraced music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs. Bongolan alleges that in September 2016, Combs held her over the 17th-floor balcony of his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura's apartment during a violent assault.
Combs, who is currently serving a 4-year and 2-month prison sentence after being convicted on felony charges in July 2025, has denied Bongolan's claims. However, Bongolan's lawyer has now submitted new evidence in the form of text messages between Ventura and Combs' chief of staff, Kristina Khorram, dated September 30, 2016. In the texts, Ventura expressed concern about Combs' "volatility" in the aftermath of the alleged attack on Bongolan.
With Combs behind bars, Bongolan is determined to seek justice through the courts. Her revised complaint, filed on October 14, 2025, has been delivered to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where Combs is currently incarcerated. A follow-up hearing is scheduled for January 22, 2026, as the lawsuit also names several corporate defendants, including Combs' Bad Boy Records.
