On November 13, 2025, a 28-year-old man from Palm Springs was arrested in connection with multiple sexual assaults involving underage girls. The arrest came after a monthslong investigation that began in May 2025, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
The suspect, Jesse James Garcia-Airada, was taken into custody around 8:50 am on Thursday near South Palm Canyon Drive and Linden Way in Palm Springs. Investigators later served a search warrant at his home and booked him into the John J. Benoit Detention Center without bail.
During the investigation, deputies learned that Garcia-Airada had contacted several underage girls and offered them illegal substances in exchange for sex. Multiple juvenile victims throughout Riverside County were identified. Authorities believe there may be more victims and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
The investigation into this case remains active, and the Riverside County Sheriff's Department is urging the public to contact Investigator Christine Davis-Arden at the Thermal Sheriff's Station or provide anonymous tips through Crime Stoppers.
