Man Dies After Aldan Police Shooting Following Taser Attempt

The responding officer initially tried to de-escalate the situation by deploying a Taser. When this proved unsuccessful, she discharged her firearm, striking Ilodigew. He was subsequently transported to Lankenau Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
The officer involved sustained minor injuries and received treatment at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital. She has been placed on administrative duty pending the outcome of the ongoing investigation into the shooting.
