Wife and Brother-in-Law Arrested for Agra Man's Murder

In Agra, a 24-year-old man was murdered merely four months after his wedding. Authorities apprehended his wife and his younger brother in connection with the crime. The victim had allegedly discovered an illicit relationship between the two.

Investigations revealed that the victim's wife and his brother had maintained contact via social media prior to the marriage. The couple, unhappy in their respective relationships, allegedly conspired to murder the victim so they could eventually marry. They attacked the victim with a stone and later strangled him with a towel.

To divert police attention, the accused woman reportedly staged a suicide attempt by hanging herself. The arrests were made after reviewing CCTV footage and recovering a blood-stained stone believed to be the murder weapon. The victim was found deceased in a field in the Sultanpura area.
