In Agra, Uttar Pradesh, a shocking incident unfolded when a 32-year-old HR manager was beheaded and her body dismembered inside her office, allegedly by her lover. The accused, identified as Vinay Singh (30), a computer operator from the same company, reportedly acted out of suspicion that the victim was communicating with another man.
Following the attack on January 23, the perpetrator attempted to conceal the crime by placing body parts in a backpack and plastic bags, intending to dump them into the Yamuna River. However, he was thwarted and later disposed of some evidence in a drain. The victim's family had reported her missing on January 23 evening after she failed to return home.
Police arrested Vinay Singh on Monday, January 27, 2026, after he confessed to the crime. Investigators utilized CCTV footage from various city locations to track and identify the suspect. An FIR has been registered against him for murder and destruction of evidence.
