The 41-year-old woman, who has worked as domestic help for various actors, first met Khan in 2015. Their professional relationship allegedly evolved into a personal one, with Khan assuring her of marriage. Believing this promise, she reportedly consented to a physical relationship that continued for approximately ten years. She approached the police after Khan allegedly refused to marry her.
The case was initially filed with Versova Police but was later transferred to Malvani Police. This transfer occurred because the alleged first sexual encounter took place within Malvani Police's jurisdiction, and the victim resides in that area. Malvani Police registered a case based on the complaint and conducted the arrest. An investigation is currently underway.
