- Victim died weeks after acid attack due to drug debt.
- Three other men received sentences up to 31 years for murder.

Paris Wilson received a nine-year sentence for manslaughter and attempted kidnapping following the acid attack that killed her ex-husband, Danny Cahalane. The 38-year-old drug dealer died in hospital weeks after the February 21, 2025, assault at his Plymouth home.
Wilson, 35, was found guilty after a four-month trial at Winchester Crown Court. The attack was reportedly linked to Cahalane's £120,000 drug debt to an overseas figure known as Frost.
Three other individuals received substantial sentences for their roles in Cahalane's death. Ramarnee Bakas, 24, was jailed for 10 years for manslaughter. Abdulrasheed Adedoja, 23, and Israel Augustus, 27, were sentenced to 31 and 30 years, respectively, after being convicted of murder.
Ms Justice Norton stated that Wilson knew an acid attack was a possibility. The defence indicated Wilson was deeply sorry, but the judge emphasized her self-concern. Cahalane's family expressed their profound grief, with his stepdad noting the loss of his partner, Cahalane's mother, who died the day after her son.
Senior district prosecutor Rachael Scott described the incident as a 'truly horrific' and 'orchestrated execution' due to the outstanding drug debt. The attack left Cahalane with severe corrosive injuries and significant pain, leading to his death. Devastatingly, Cahalane's mother passed away from cancer the day after her son's death, compounding the family's tragedy.
