Summary
- A woman rescued a man accused of double murder from drowning.
- The suspect is accused of killing his wife and another man.
- The killings occurred outside a Florida library in March.

A woman named Belinda recently shared her experience of rescuing a man from the ocean near Riomar Beach on March 24. She described hearing cries for help and subsequently assisting the struggling individual to shore.
Belinda recounted urging the man, who claimed to be exhausted, to let the waves carry him. She later learned the man she aided was Jesse Scott Ellis, who is currently sought by authorities.
Ellis, 64, is accused of committing a double murder on March 24, fatally shooting his wife, Stacie Ellis Mason, and Danny Ooley outside the Indian River County Main Library. Police Chief David Currey described the incident as a "crime of passion."
Authorities believe Ellis was upset about his wife's potential affair with Ooley, who was the Public Works assistant director for Indian River County. Mason was employed as a county traffic technician. Ellis' truck was later discovered abandoned at South Beach with wet, sandy clothes inside.
