According to the police, the incident occurred when the girl's mother had gone out to play Garba, a popular traditional folk dance. The mother left her daughter and son in the care of her husband, the girl's stepfather. Upon returning home, the mother heard distressing sounds coming from her daughter's room and immediately rushed to investigate.
The girl then bravely recounted the traumatic ordeal to her mother, who promptly took her to the hospital. The child is currently receiving intensive medical care and is in a critical state.
