Two individuals were arrested following a police operation in a Nottinghamshire supermarket car park where officers discovered a significant sum of cash concealed on one of the men.
The incident occurred around 2 PM on Sunday when police, acting on intelligence, intercepted a vehicle at the Tesco on Station Road in Beeston. They subsequently blocked the car to prevent its movement before searching the two men inside.
During the search, approximately £5,000 in cash was found stuffed down one man's underpants. He was also found to be in possession of three mobile phones. A 42-year-old man and a 45-year-old man were taken into custody on suspicion of possessing criminal property.
