On November 15, 2025, a violent incident unfolded in Osage County, Kansas, leaving four law enforcement officers wounded and the suspect dead. According to authorities, the incident began around 10:30 a.m. when three Osage County sheriff's officers and a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper responded to a domestic violence call at a residence just north of 113th and Topeka Boulevard.
During the response, the officers were shot and wounded. The suspect, a male civilian, was also killed in the exchange of gunfire. Another man involved in the incident was transported to a hospital, where his condition was reported as stable.
