Heritage Heist: 200 Antique Utensils Recovered in Kurukshetra

In Kurukshetra, the district police successfully arrested two accused in connection with the theft of rare antique and heritage utensils. The Crime Investigation Agency (CIA)-II team apprehended Rajat and Yogesh, residents of village Khanpur Koliyan.

The arrests followed a complaint lodged on January 8 by Maha Singh, Director at Kurukshetra University. Singh reported that numerous antique utensils, collected for his heritage hotel development near village Masana, were stolen from a warehouse on the premises.

Following the complaint, a case was registered, and the investigation was assigned to CIA-II. On January 20, the police team arrested Rajat and Yogesh, recovering approximately 200 stolen antique utensils from their possession. The accused were produced before a court and subsequently sent to judicial custody.
