Tragic Park Shooting: 15-Year-Old Dead, Two Injured

A fatal shooting occurred at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow on Wednesday evening, claiming the life of a 15-year-old boy. Two other individuals were wounded in the incident and are reported to be in stable condition, undergoing surgery. Police are investigating the shooting as gang-related, with evidence pointing to an event associated with the Bloods gang, advertised through social media.

The incident took place shortly before 8:30 p.m. when police received reports of multiple people being shot. The park was technically closed at the time, with staff in the process of securing the area. An ambulance medic present in the park was able to render aid after hearing the gunfire. Authorities from Nassau County have stated they will not tolerate gang activity within the county. Attendees from the Bronx and Suffolk County were reportedly present at the gathering.
