11-Year Fugitive Bawariya Gang Member Nabbed

A member of the Bawariya gang, who had been evading law enforcement for 11 years, was arrested by police on Friday. This individual was wanted in connection with several cases of murder, robbery, and dacoity that occurred in various districts. Authorities recovered a pistol and two cartridges from the suspect upon his apprehension.
A reward totaling Rs 75,000 had been previously declared for the accused by both the Kanpur and Jaunpur police departments. The charges stem from incidents including a dacoity in 2015 in Khadamau village, where a victim died after being assaulted by the perpetrators. The accused, identified as Kallu alias Firoz, is also implicated in a dacoity and murder case in Jaunpur from 2014.
The fugitive had managed to live in different locations across various states, frequently changing his identity. Kanpur police had announced a reward of Rs 25,000, while Jaunpur police offered Rs 50,000 for his capture. Acting on a tip-off, the inspector of Araul police station successfully arrested the accused near Singhauli village.
