Palm Oil Associations Ink Landmark Deal to Boost Sustainability

Both associations have committed to focusing on certified sustainable palm oil while ensuring the inclusion of smallholder farmers in the value chain. IVPA President Sudhakar Desai emphasized that the MoU signals a shared commitment to a supply chain that benefits consumers and producers alike.
IPOA's Head of Foreign Affairs, M Fadhil Hasan, expressed Indonesia's support for advancing India's food security and climate goals through a reliable, responsibly sourced palm oil supply. The partnership aims to strengthen the palm oil industry's sustainability and transparency, ultimately contributing to the well-being of producers and consumers.
