Summary
- Zydex targets Rs 300 crore revenue in two years.
- Investment of Rs 50 crore in Vadodara facility.
- Strategic partnership with M3M India announced.

Gujarat-based Zydex Group has set a bold objective to triple its revenue from paints and waterproofing within two years, aiming for Rs 300 crore. This strategic push is centered on the growing potential of silicate mineral paints in the Indian market.
The company, which generated approximately Rs 90 crore last fiscal, anticipates revenue to reach Rs 150 crore this financial year. Zydex views the silicate mineral paints category as a nascent market with significant growth prospects, projecting annual growth of 25-50% over the next decade and a half.
Zydex is investing Rs 50 crore in its Vadodara plant to bolster production of these specialized paints. While currently more expensive than acrylic paints, the price gap is expected to narrow as production scales. The company is focusing on a specification route, engaging directly with architects rather than retail channels.
A recent strategic partnership with M3M India aims to deploy KEIM Regalan, a silicate mineral paint system, across M3M's premium developments, enhancing Zydex's market reach and distribution capabilities.
