In a significant move, YouTube TV is set to launch Bloomberg TV+ and Bloomberg Originals on October 28, 2025. This distribution deal marks the first partnership between Bloomberg Media and YouTube TV, providing YouTube TV subscribers with access to Bloomberg's live coverage of breaking business and financial news, as well as a slate of original series and documentaries.
Bloomberg TV+ will be the first 24-hour news channel on YouTube TV to be delivered in 4K UHD, offering viewers high-quality coverage of the latest developments in markets, geopolitics, and technology. The addition of Bloomberg's programming is a strategic move to reach a wider audience, as YouTube TV is the largest internet-delivered pay TV service in the U.S., with an estimated subscriber base of over 10 million.
"More than 60 million people on average watch Bloomberg programming monthly, and adding YouTube TV's subscribers to our audience of business leaders is a big step toward continued growth," said Bloomberg Media's chief information officer, Roman Mackiewicz. The partnership aims to provide YouTube TV subscribers with essential news and information to help them stay informed and make important decisions.
YouTube's head of media partnerships, Paul Snow, expressed the company's pride in welcoming Bloomberg to the platform, stating, "Through this partnership, YouTube TV subscribers now have access to Bloomberg TV's high-quality business coverage to help them stay up to date and informed."
