Wipro CEO Srini Pallia has announced the company's strategic shift towards an AI-first approach, aiming to bolster future growth. This pivot involves transitioning to a services-as-a-software model through its AI Native Business & Platforms unit.
The IT giant's financial results for the March quarter of FY26 revealed a consolidated net profit of Rs 3,501.8 crore, marking a 1.89% decrease compared to the same period last year. This figure was Rs 3,569.6 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Revenue from operations showed a positive trend, rising by 7.6% to Rs 24,236.3 crore in the fourth quarter of FY26. Compared to the preceding December quarter, both profit and revenue saw increases of 12.2% and 2.8%, respectively.
For the full fiscal year 2025-26, Wipro's net profit reached Rs 13,197.4 crore, a marginal 0.47% increase from FY25. The full-year revenue for FY26 was Rs 92,624 crore, up 3.96% from the previous fiscal year.
Pallia emphasized that AI advancements are reshaping client priorities, creating opportunities for deeper partnerships and value-driven outcomes. He cited the strategic deal with Olam Group as evidence of decisive investments to capture opportunities at scale.
