This expansion follows the recent opening of the Voyager American Defense Complex in Pueblo, Colorado, in January 2026. Voyager has also strategically acquired companies like Estes Energetics and ExoTerra Resources, strengthening its domestic production of rocket motors, energetic materials, and electric propulsion systems.
Voyager's defense business is experiencing substantial growth, with $35.7 million in revenue from this segment reported for the three months ending December 31, 2025. The company is a key supplier of propulsion components for Lockheed Martin's Next Generation Interceptor program.
Executives highlighted increasing opportunities related to the 'Golden Dome' missile defense architecture, anticipating significant demand for propulsion systems due to global geopolitical circumstances. Voyager estimates $1.6 billion in potential opportunities tied to these programs, with future defense spending increases and onshoring initiatives expected to further bolster its backlog.
