Volvo EX30 Discontinued in US
17 Mar
Summary
- Volvo will stop selling EX30 and EX30 Cross Country in the US.
- US sales for these models will cease after the 2026 model year.
- EX30 will still be available in Canada and Mexico markets.

Volvo Cars is set to discontinue the EX30 small electric SUV and its Cross Country version in the United States later this year. The automaker confirmed that U.S. sales for these specific models will conclude after the 2026 model year.
Despite the exit from the U.S. market, the EX30 will continue to be offered in other regions, such as Canada and Mexico. This decision comes as Volvo Cars faces market headwinds, including trade tariffs, which contributed to a 10% drop in sales volumes in the three months leading up to February.
Globally, electric vehicle sales saw a decline in February, partly due to significant sales drops in China. The EX30, launched in 2023, was part of a competitive push to make EVs more affordable, aiming to offer "small SUV doing Volvo things" capabilities.
