The new cybersecurity offering is a managed detection and response service, leveraging Google Security Operations to provide robust protection. Initially available in Germany, this service adheres to the region's strict data protection regulations, with plans for broader European rollout later this year.
Furthermore, Vodafone is introducing the Vodafone Business AI Concierge, powered by Google Gemini. This agentic AI solution is designed to manage customer interactions, answer inquiries, and schedule appointments. It will first be accessible in Greece and Germany, aiming to simplify AI adoption for businesses.
According to Fanan Henriques, Vodafone's business product director, the partnership aims to make sophisticated AI practical and accessible for everyday business operations. He highlighted the AI Concierge as a pioneering telephony integration with Gemini, emphasizing the combination of Vodafone's network and Google Cloud's AI expertise.
