On November 13, 2025, Vishal Mega Mart Ltd announced a robust second-quarter financial performance. The company's net profit surged 46.4% year-on-year to ₹152.3 crore, compared to ₹104 crore in the same period last year. Vishal's revenue grew 22.4% to ₹2,981 crore from ₹2,436 crore, while its EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization) jumped 30.7% to ₹394 crore.
The company's operating margin improved to 13.2% from 12.4% a year ago, reflecting continued operational efficiency and growth momentum. Vishal's Managing Director and CEO, Gunender Kapur, attributed the strong performance to the continued strength of the company's own-brand portfolio, healthy footfalls, and steady store expansion.
In the first half of 2025, Vishal added 51 new stores, in line with its strategy of deepening its presence in core markets and entering new states. As of September 30, 2025, the company operated 742 stores across 493 cities.
