In a significant move within the entertainment industry, former Paramount Global attorney Todd L. Calvin has joined the boutique law practice The Kelley Firm. Calvin will be based out of the firm's new Beverly Hills office, where he will leverage his extensive experience to bolster the firm's capabilities in the ever-evolving media and entertainment landscape.
At Paramount Global, Calvin served as senior vice president of business and legal affairs, responsible for negotiating and drafting above-the-line deals for the development and production of original live-action scripted content distributed on Paramount's streaming and linear platforms, as well as third-party platforms like Netflix and Hulu. His expertise also includes production legal and a wide range of music-related deals, including recording contracts, composer agreements, synch licenses, publishing, touring, and concert agreements.
The Kelley Firm's founder and managing member, O'Brien Kelley, emphasized the importance of adapting to meet clients' needs quickly and efficiently in the ever-evolving media and entertainment landscape.
