Veranda Learning has announced its first full fiscal year profit for FY26, a remarkable turnaround from the previous year's net loss. The company's revenue from operations for FY26 surged by 35% year-over-year, reaching ₹482 crore. Net profit for the fiscal year stood at ₹130 crore, a substantial improvement from a net loss of ₹252 crore in FY25.
During the fourth quarter ended March 2026 (Q4FY26), revenue climbed 52% year-over-year to ₹132 crore, with net profit nearly doubling. This enhanced profitability was supported by a sharp decline in finance costs and other operating expenses. The company is also progressing towards the demerger and separate listing of its commerce vertical.
Veranda Learning anticipates final National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) approval for this restructuring by mid-July. Shareholders have already approved the scheme. The company is targeting significant revenue growth for its commerce segment post-demerger, aiming for ₹1,000+ crore revenue by FY30 through product and geographical expansion.
Overall enrolments for FY26 grew 21% to 2.6 lakh, with collections increasing by 40%. New initiatives include 'Commerce Virtuals,' a digital offering for Class 11 & 12, and expansion of physical presence into Tier 2/3 towns. The next NCLT hearing is scheduled for June 3, 2026.
